LGBTQ-Friendly Parishes & Faith Communities - New Ways Ministry
Some Christian denominations do not consider homosexuality or transgender identity to be sins. These include entire religious denominations , as well as individual churches and congregations. Additionally, some denominations which are not LGBT-affirming have member-organized groups which are not officially sanctioned by the denomination. There are also ecumenical or para-church programmes that are explicitly outreaches to LGBT people, but do not identify with any particular faith tradition or denomination. Today some Christian denominations are accepting of homosexuality and transgender identity and inclusive of homosexual and transgender people, such as the United Church of Christ and the Metropolitan Community Church. The Evangelical Network holds an annual conference and provides education, ministerial support, and networking capabilities.

As a Pennsylvania megachurch that is one of the largest congregations in the United States of America is set to open a new campus, local congregations have been welcoming of the project. Lives Changed By Christ LCBC , a multiple campus church with an estimated 10, weekly attendance, will soon be opening its fourth campus in York in part to ease the commute of many of its members. While LCBC readies the campus for its March 18 opening, churches in the area are welcoming of the new arrivals. Rather, they are friends and family members. We look forward to working together in advancing God's Kingdom.
