A Boston police officer is on paid leave and facing an internal affairs investigation after a night out at a Rhode Island strip club and a bar with two women who have been charged with stealing his gun, authorities said. The officer reported his gun was stolen from his car parked at a Hampton Inn in Pawtucket, R. Saturday, according to a police report provided to the Globe by the Providence Journal , which first reported the story. Rivera was one of three exotic dancers arrested for prostitution at the Foxy Lady strip club in Providence in December, according to the police report. The officer met Rivera at a bar in the hotel before going to the Nara Lounge in Providence. After about two hours, the three went to a Providence strip club, The Cadillac Lounge.

Nicholas Lourenco, 29, turned himself in Tuesday on charges of simple assault and disorderly conduct from the incident Feb. After a review of surveillance footage from the incident, police decided to charge Lourenco, Maj. David Lapatin said. Lourenco punched a man who worked at the strip club, causing a facial injury, Lapatin said. Joseph Lancia, president of the Rhode Island chapter of the Hells Angels, also faces charges of simple assault and disorderly conduct from the incident. Police said he punched a strip club worker in the face, knocking him to the ground just outside the club. The victim appeared to be unconscious, the police said.

Video from the Cadillac Lounge and Club Desire documenting the offers of sex was aired on the station Monday and Tuesday night, and the investigators also provided a report alleging that a similar offer was made at a club called Fantasies.
